The idea from IDSP was to get integrated in to the on going work of NEF in the field, and build capacity by providing on site training and demonstration. The IDSP team and NEF field coordinator’s teams were to work together, in the ongoing field activities. In this process all teams of NEF would have be trained according to the areas, communities and various community participation approaches. The community was to be directly benefited as an outcome of this joint approach. NEF’s Managing Director was of the opinion that the joint training in the field will be difficult to be managed by NEF, because teams are in various communities at a time, while there is only one vehicle, arranging accommodation will also be a problem. Most of the main office in Islamabad will not get update on day-to-day basis.
The partner NGOs in general lack concepts of community participation. To provide exact timely information to CECs, is seen as a threat by the very NGOs whose assignment is to strengthen the CEC’s. These are the observations made during the orientation workshop in FATA attended by IDSP team.

NEF’s natural course is to develop spaces to facilitate partnerships in private sector at all levels for meaningful and sustainable education. For this purpose it has to develop its technical capacities in partnership building, demonstration of best practices, and providing technical and financial assistance in financially viable mode of community based educational system
